In a continuation of its appalling campaign against innocent civilians, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) launched a savage air raid on the Zamzam IDP camp in North Darfur State at dawn on Monday under the instructions of SAF General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan.

This egregious attack occurred as the world watched humanitarian organizations mobilize to combat the devastating famine ravaging the camp’s residents.

These aerial bombardments are the latest crimes against humanity orchestrated by the terrorist Islamic Movement through its operatives within the SAF, employing a merciless death machine that surpasses even hunger in its lethal impact on women, children, and the vulnerable. The carnage resulting from the bombing is unprecedented in the annals of warfare, highlighting the extreme and irrational cruelty of those responsible.

The SAF’s systematic bombardment of the IDP camp is a blatant violation of international humanitarian law and irrefutable evidence of its role in racial genocide. Its actions underscore a ruthless agenda to obliterate communities striving to rebuild their lives outside the oppressive influence of the former regime.

The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) unequivocally condemns these barbaric crimes against humanity and calls upon the international community to intervene with urgency. The world must not stand idle in the face of these atrocities and must condemn the SAF and the jihadist Islamic Movement's heinous actions.

We pledge our unwavering support for the Sudanese people in resisting these inhumane acts and vow to relentlessly pursue the perpetrators until terrorism is  eradicated from our country. Together, we will hand-in-hand forge a renewed Sudan grounded in the pillars of justice, inclusivity, rule of law, and democracy.
